Access to Barunguba Montague Island is by boat and landing on the reserve is managed by National Parks and Wildlife Service.

You must book a charter tour to land on Barunguba Montague Island. A guide will explain the rich natural and cultural history of the island. In summer, an evening tour is available to view the Little Penguins that call the island their home.
Package your tour with whale watching during spring or an amazing snorkelling session with the local seals who congregate at the island all year round.
